On Jan. 10, the Biden administration announced that starting January 15, 2022 commercial insurance companies and group health plans are required to provide coverage for authorized COVID-19 over-the-counter at-home tests (“at-home test”) at no cost share for members for up to 8 individual tests per member every 30 days.
Members will be able to pick up tests at no cost from pharmacies or order them online.
